Our approved Learning Partners gives formal recognition to the leading learning providers for the quality tuition and support that they offer to our students. It is the platform where we can develop student with quality world class educational support.
PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
We regard our relationship with learning providers as fundamental to the success of its student body. The provision of good tuition, wherever we have students, is a key factor in assisting students in the successful completion of their examinations.
Our Approved Learning Partners demonstrate that they meet our performance targets, representing global best practice in the provision of course tuition and support. The aims of our Approved Learning Partners Programme are to:
- Approve the highest quality CIHTM Learning Providers who have demonstrated their success in supporting through the CIHTM and Foundations level qualifications.
- Support our Learning partners in providing students with the opportunity to succeed.
LEVELS
There are two levels of approvals.
SILVER
Available to Learning Providers new to teaching or unable to demonstrate our performance targets for Gold approvals.
GOLD
Available to Learning Providers providing tuition for any of our Qualification ( CIHTM, Foundation in Tourism or Hospitality). To be eligible for approval at this level , learning providers must meet a range of challenging performance target covering the institution’s overall operations.

Exam specific resources such as the syllabus, specimen exams, examination report and technical articles are available to you and your students.
THE EDUCATION HUB
Extra resources created especially for tutors, including discussion forms and guidance on course set up, are available on the Education Hub – an exclusive online toolkit for CIHTM tutors and learning partners.
CIHTM’S CONTENT PROGRAMME
The overarching objective of CIHTM’s content approval programmes is to ensure the widest possible access to quality learning materials for CIHTM students.
CIHTM has two approved programmes:
APPROVED CONTENT PROVIDER
This programme covers the provision of learning materials of CIHTM, Foundations and other Qualifications. These are approved and quality assured by CIHTM
Approval is granted on the basis of number of criteria including quality of the materials, support offered to students and the ability of providers to ensure materials are available across a number of markets.
RECOGNIZED CONTENT PROVIDER PROGRAMME
This is a new programme which covers CIHTM variant exams and qualifications other than the main CIHTM, Foundation and Diploma Qualifications.
Given the Market specific nature of these exams and qualifications the approval criteria are different to those that apply to the programme covering CIHTM’s Qualifications and exams, but allmaterials recognized under this programme are accessed by CIHTM’S examining team to ensure they are of the highest quality.
Note that CIHTM’S Approved Content Provider may also provide learning materials for variant exams and other qualifications but these are approved under the terms of the Approved Content Programme.
