The Certified Institute of Hospitality Tourism and Management is a company limited by guarantee, which means that the organisation is governed in line with the Memorandum and Articles of the Association and related Bye-Laws.
The Articles of the Association set out the rules governing constitution of the Institute and how it will operate, including the definition of membership, the formation and powers of the Supervisory Board, and organisation of the membership. The Bye-Laws provide additional requirements in relation to membership grades, branch organisation, the code of conduct for members and the disciplinary procedure that can operate if the code is infringed.
These documents are part of the legal constitution and like many such documents are fairly complex. If you have any queries in relation to these documents, please contact the Head of Legal Counsel, Barrister Okoliko dr administration@cihtmglobal.org
